A new metro rail between Noida to Greater Noida by 2017

A detailed project report for the much needed metro line between Noida to Greater Noida covering a 29.707 km stretch, prepared by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), has been submitted to the state government. This will provide clean and smooth public transport and would tackle the urgent requirement of the region.

The new metro line is prepared by keeping in mind the projected population of over 15 lakh in Noida and around 12 lakh in Greater Noida by the year 2031. The development, operation and maintenance of the metro rail will be managed by a special purpose vehicle (SPV).
